This past Sunday marked the 100th year anniversary of Armistace Day which brought an end to the First World War. Millions of people across the country paid their respects to the fallen who served during the conflict as well as to veterans of past conflicts and active members of the armed forces who are presently serving. Bullworthy was certainly no exception to this fact as members of the company paid their own respects including ex-serviceman and valued member of its service team.
Bullworthy understands the importance of honouring those brave individuals who have served both past and present. With one of Bullworthy’s own having been involved in the armed services, the company felt an intense obligation to ensure that those individuals and their contributions are never forgotten.
Which is why Bullworthy with a great sense of pride have enrolled in The Armed Services Covenant – A Government-backed scheme that focusses on helping members of the armed forces community. The covenant supports serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families and is fulfilled by the different groups that have committed to making a difference.
Bullworthy have been commended with the Bronze Award as part of the covenants Employer Recognition Scheme. Bullworthy very much look forward to working closely with the organisation in future endeavours and offers their continued support.
