Vindis Group, have once again pushed the envelope of dealership design by separating service and repair facilities from what will now become their dedicated showroom and sales facilities.
With the opening of their standalone service and repair centre, located at Cambridge Research Park, Waterbeach, this will allow the Group to redevelop their existing showroom facilities for both VW and Skoda. Incorporating the existing workshops within the redevelopment will increase the size of showroom and sales facilities whilst offering better access and parking that will enhance their customer’s experience.
The new standalone workshop facility comprises of, 12 service bays, 5 fast-stop and go, service lanes, dual ATL MOT facilities fitted with the most advanced wheel alignment system available.
Renowned within the industry as the most trusted lift, with longevity and reliability at their core, the Vindis Group chose Rotary 2 post vehicle lifts throughout and Rotary 4 post platforms for their ATL MOT bays.
The new service facility didn’t come without its design challenges. Key to the operational method was the need to drive in, drive through and drive out, of the Fast-stop and go service lanes. Working with DEA Italia, a bespoke, offset service hub was re-designed in making this possible.
Working with DEA Italia and Rotary, combined with Bullworthy’s dedicated design projects team, the client’s expectations were exceeded. If you would like to know how Bullworthy can help with design, suitable workshop equipment, project planning and management, don’t hesitate, call them today.
