Bullworthy’s were contacted back in October by Emerald Cars on behalf of the London Taxi Company to tender a quotation for the supply and installation of a collection of new service lifts at their main assembly factory situated in nearby Coventry.

Detailed in the original brief outlined by the customer was the request for heavy duty two and four post lifts that would be able to withstand the daily pressures of a busy factory environment and the choice was clear. The choice was obviously Rotary on account of their superior build quality and for being renowned as the world’s most trusted vehicle lift solution.

Rotary 4 tonne four post lifts were selected to perform the brunt of the service work inside the main assembly plant at the factory while two individual Rotary 4 tonne two post lifts were chosen to perform individual service work in the adjacent technology centre. The four post service lifts were also equipped with heavy duty 2 tonne jacking beams.

The order was awarded in the weeks following and Bullworthy’s GEA (Garage Equipment Association) accredited engineers quickly set to work shortly after ensuring downtime for the client was at a minimum whilst working as safely and efficiently as possible. The lifts were successfully installed and load tested within a week of the installation team commencing work and the lifts were operational as of the end of November.
